Thisdoesn't exactly match my other pots and pans, but I was looking for an inexpensive pan I could use with confidence AND put in the dishwaher. At this price, I was willing to take a chance, and am very glad I did. Attitionally, the glass lid has the wider metal circle around the outside, so I can easily distinguish it in my ocean of lids. That is really helpful, because I don't have a good way to keep my lids orderly (you should see my tupperware cabinet!). I highly recommend it for an every day pan. The pan is balanced and the helper handle has come in handy too many times to mention. I used to use skillets all the time but this works better for me.The pan is quite large and probably won't sit all the way down in your sink if you have a double sink. I currently have one large sink and it fits. When I had a double sink, the bowl would fit all the way in. But, no matter what kind of sink you have, the non-stick surface is truly non-stick. The sink sprayer will most likely get everything out except a little left on or around the metal nubs that hold the handles on. The surface also does not scratch. I've been using mine almost 3 times a week for 4 years and it practically looks brand new. (I use wire wisks in my saucepan and it looks the same as this pan.) The size is perfect for my use.
